About me
I grew up in the city of Toronto, where I discovered a passion for hands-on design and workmanship in high school. This interest led me to pursue Engineering Physics and Materials at Queen’s University, where I combined my love for design and physics.
Throughout my studies, I thrived in projects that blended creativity with technical skills, from designing chaotic pendulums to optimizing the friction in ski wax.
My industry experience includes working at TC Energy, where I automated key processes for the Welding, Materials, and Coatings teams, and at Aluula Composites, where I developed advanced polyethylene-based composites for high-performance textiles. My work at Aluula included developing materials for wind sports and inflatable structures, managing technical relationships, and developing novel processes that enable fabrics to significantly outperform traditional materials.
Through all this time on the west coast, I have developed a deep love for the outdoors, especially backpacking and surfing, which now inspire me to bring the same sense of challenge and adventure to my career in material science.
